The owner, Sean Daniels, graduated from the University of the Western Cape in 2005 with a B.Comm Degree. He is renowned for his dedication and perseverance toward achieving goals and satisfying client needs beyond expectations.

  Benchmark Doors (Cape) was established in the year 2000 to act as an agency for Benchmark Africa in the Western Cape. From a single agent operation, the company has grown and now employs 10 full time employees. We became completely independent 2008 continuing and adding to our product range and service offerings.

Our employees have a considerable amount of accumulated years of experience in the cold, refrigeration and logistics industries which enhances our offering.    ​

Our PVC Curtains are “green friendly” and all our future R & D are geared toward achieving minimum impact on the environment.

Our main focus was the supply and installations of PVC strip curtains and Durulite double action traffic doors. We have subsequently adapted to the needs of our clients and have added a number of products and services. For example, one of our clients had a problem of fine dust polluting their immediate neighbours when they loaded their waste. We subsequently designed and fitted a sliding arrangement which allowed trucks to pass unhindered and seal the area whilst loading.  This dramatically reduced the dispersion of the fine dust like particles. This illustrates our ability to adapt and design to suit client needs.

We have also secured our own brand of PVC and have added the “Polar” version to accommodate the refrigeration industry.  The “Polar” strip can handle temperatures of -50 degrees Celsius.  This increases the life span of the strip. As we have our roots are in the cold room industry, we also offer door repairs.
